Quite simply, feminism is about all genders having equal rights and opportunities. It's about respecting diverse women's experiences, identities, knowledge and strengths, and striving to empower all women to realise their full rights.

In general, feminism can be seen as a movement to put an end to sexism, sexist exploitation, and oppression and to achieve full gender equality in law and in practic

  • Reproductive rights.
  • Women's suffrage.
  • The right to an education.
  • Fighting against gender stereotypes and performative behaviors.
  • Protection against sexual harassment and assault.
  • The right to own property.






The 4 principles of feminism

Feminists fight for gender equality for everyone, including women, men, transgender, and nonbinary people. Most feminists agree on five basic principles—working to increase equality, expanding human choice, eliminating gender stratification, ending sexual violence, and promoting sexual freedom.

The concept of feminism
